Our client, a family run successful business which has been established for over 5 years is seeking a Stone Consultant. They are a leading importer of natural stone tiles for living spaces and commercial situations. They supply the highest quality of stone and offer a professional design and installation service to their clients priding themselves on their high level of customer service. You will be based at their showroom which is close to Wetherby to provide customer service and support for their clients- including retailers, the general public and trade. You will guide the customer through the buying process and the product range right from the first meeting through to advice on laying the stone once it is delivered. Duties: • Provide a high level of product advice and guidance • Design ideas • Provide quotations • Dealing with telephone enquiries • Taking payments • Booking deliveries • Attending trade shows • Marketing /Sales calls • Client meetings, visiting retailers • Training the retailers on your products that they are merchandising You should have a background in sales and have a passion for stone products. A background selling stone and installation would be desirable but not essential. You must be well presented, have excellent communication skills with the ability to offer exceptional customer service and the desire to help grow the business. Travel to international destinations visiting quarries sourcing stone can also be expected once fully trained within the role
