We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Coordinator to work as part of the Prospect/New Business Team, proactively targeting prospective customers from an established database of existing users, by telephone, to discuss their requirements and build relationships, with the purpose of bringing on quality new business, and offering all services, whilst achieving individual and team targets.
Duties:
• To ensure all prospective customers are contacted on a regular basis, and their requirements discussed. To categorize their usage by obtaining the relevant information. To record the details accurately on the prospect record with the aim of ultimately ensuring all prospect records are categorized. To obtain e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers, and record on the system. To offer services, tailoring them to customers’ individual needs.
• To send out packs to interested parties, having fully explained the packages to them, and to diarise a chasing call in order to discuss further, and overcome any objections.
• To respond to Direct enquiries by e-mail providing quotes, recording all activity on the relevant report, setting up new prospect details on the system where appropriate, recording quotes, and proactively offering our packages.
• To actively work towards your own individual targets, and also team targets, for New Accounts, Blue Chips acquired, Blue Chip packs sent out.
• To assist where required in contacting customers to ensure relationships are maintained and volume and margin targets achieved. To bring on a new level of business each month by targeting the commercial prospect database and achieving the new business targets, by building relationships and acquiring credit information prior to acquiring the customer, as and when required.
• To prepare accurate weekly reports on calls made for the Sales and Business Development Manager.
