| Invigorate Recruitment is working with a well established organisation based within Bradford who are looking to recruit a full time permanent Quality Assurance Manager. Our Client is a market leading supplier of soft furnishings, the company enjoys a unique culture and whilst it is a leader in many fields, still retains a people centred, small-company feel. The environment is very fast moving and as such demands a high level of commitment and at the same time offers excellent opportunity for progression. Duties: • Oversee all QA matters and organise internal and external audits • Deal with all customers and supplies on a one to one basis and develop working relationships • Deciding the care instructions for products, based on a combination of Customer Preference, previous care information,, test results, and also customer complaints. • Manage individual workload through effective planning and organising of tasks to ensure all targets and deadlines are met and budgets adhered to and ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered to all users. • Responsible for budget monitoring, ensuring you monitor the costs or internal and external audits and testing. • Liaise with external suppliers, organising samples and testing to customer specifications and liaising with trading standards on areas of uncertainty. • Accurately maintain records within agreed procedures. • Provide up to date account information and progress on specific tasks. Skills: • Experience of implementing BRC Audits, ETI, Reach regulations, Package and Waste regulations is essential • Experience of using the retail software ‘inspire and technical library training’ • Previous experience of working in a Quality Assurance Management role • A good listener with the ability to develop trusting relationships with people. • Good attention to detail • Ability to liaise with Key suppliers on a magnitude of levels • Previous product development experience • Good commercial awareness. • Ability to communicate in a thorough and factual manner and to confidently communicate at all levels both internally and externally. • A persistent problem solver, able to develop practical solutions in a timely and thorough manner. • Retail or textiles knowledge is preferred. Working hours- Monday – Thursday 9am- 5pm, Friday 9am – 2pm. Salary £20k- £25k pa |
